Mobile-Vehicle
From fashion houses to cartoon companies to watchmakers and now automobile manufacturers, getting into the mobile world is fast becoming a hot trend. Apart from extending the brand value of high-status automobiles, it also offers fashion-conscious users a way to flaunt their style. Let's take a look at some cars that got 'mobilized'.
Asus Lamborghini ZX1
The Asus Lamborghini ZX1 is truly a work of art. It has a 2.8 inch TFT touchscreen display and the Windows Mobile interface is designed to look and feel like a race car. The handset itself is made of a strong carbon fiber that makes it sturdy. The 3MP camera has a stainless steel case to protect the lens. The handset is well-equipped with Bluetooth v.2.0+EDR, 3.5G with HSDPA, and integrated GPS. Its 9-way navigation key makes surfing through menus easy. External memory is supported via microSD cards.
Porsche 9’521
The Porsche 9’521 is manufactured by French company Sagem and is built out of a single block of aluminum. It has an external display made of strong mineral glass that’s scratch-resistant. Its internal main display is 2.2 inches with a 320 x 240 pixel resolution. The display portion of the handset swivels to activate the 3.2MP camera (with 2 LED flashes) and an Accelerometer allows the orientation to change according to how it’s held (works best with videos). It supports Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP. A biometric sensor for fingerprint scanning protects your data. External memory is handled by means of a 2GB microSD card.
Motorola V9 Ferrari
Motorola’s RAZR V9 is reportedly going to be released as a limited edition Ferrari handset. Like the normal V9, the Ferrari edition also has a 2 megapixel camera. The 2-inch external display with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution comes with three touch-sensitive keys for the music player. These provide Haptic feedback. The internal display is a bit larger at 2.2 inches but has the same resolution. External memory is supported via a microSD card. The V9 is 3G-enabled with HSDPA speeds, and supports EDGE/GPRS and Bluetooth with an A2DP profile. A special accessory for the handset is a lambskin pouch bearing the famous prancing horse logo.
